ΟΙ ΕΡΙΝΥΕΣ ΤΟΥ ΚΑΜΠΟΥ

Κι έτρεξε πίσω στη μάνα  συγχώρεση να πάρει

Μα ήταν αργά

Μολυσμένη εκείνη

Από   ρινίσματα ανόσιας λεπίδας

Ξεχύθηκε ανάστατο το μόλεμα αυτό- το ποτισμένο μέταλλο

και στοίχειωσε νεκρούς που είχανε ήδη λησμονήσει.

Και σκοτείνιασε το φως

Και γέμισαν πτώματα οι πόλεις

Και ακούστηκαν τα ουρλιαχτά-

Ανθρώπων ή ζώων δεν ξεχώριζες-

Μέχρι τη βαθειά Άβυσσο

Κι έτρεξε πίσω στη γη να ξεπλυθεί στο χώμα το ιερό

Μα ήταν κιόλας λασπωμένο
